The Ivy Collection Comes to Manchester, Late November 2018.
An emerald in Manchester’s crown, The Ivy Spinningfields will be the largest restaurant to open in the UK in 2018, with space for approximately 535 guests to flourish over four unique floors.
Set across the city’s financial district in Spinningfields, The Ivy will open in Manchester this November. Featuring a ground floor brasserie, a first floor private dining room, an opulent bar and restaurant on the second floor, plus a lavish Roof Garden, the venue is complete with fire pits and an abundance of foliage. Surrounded by plush greenery, The Ivy Spinningfields will occupy an impressive timber framed space within the city’s new development, The Pavilion.
Open all day, seven days a week, the traditional Ivy Brasserie will serve up modern British classics, perfect for any occasion. An all-encompassing menu will feature a variety of dishes, for example, ‘truffled orzo pasta’, ‘lobster linguine’ and ‘slow-cooked lamb shoulder’.
Housed on the first floor, The Dalton Room is available to those seeking out a more exclusive experience, where parties can bring up to twenty seated guests. Featuring floor-to-ceiling glass walls, guests can enjoy beautiful natural light and stunning views across Spinningfields.
Situated on the second floor of The Ivy Spinningfields, ‘The Ivy Asian’ will be the brand’s first ever – a glamorous bar and restaurant, this space will serve up Asian-inspired cocktails to accompany dishes, such as ‘Wagu beef with truffle sauce’ and ‘salmon fillet teriyaki’. In true decadence, the entire floor will be made with a truly divine, semi-precious green stone. This will be set against the grand and golden tones of the deluxe antique gold-mirrored bar and gold-gilt ceiling, whilst sumptuous Asian fabrics adorn across the many soft furnishings. The ‘Geisha Room’, an exquisite private room with bespoke mirrored artwork is also available for private hire.
Up on the top floor, Manchester’s first Roof Garden comes to life. With a fully retractable roof, this enchanting space will be open all year round. Guests can enjoy delicious food and cocktails within the verdant settings. Roaring fire pits and soft textures add an element of comfort, creating a seductive oasis above the city of Manchester.
Once open, the Ivy Spinningfields will host an exciting and eclectic mix DJs (yet to be officially announced) and events on each of its floors. Reservations can be made across the venue, while walk-ins will be welcomed for those wishing to experience either the Ivy Brasserie, The Roof Garden or ‘The Ivy Asian’.
With Kate Cooper as the restaurant’s General Manager, the Ivy Spinningfields team will also include Steve Scoullar as Senior Head Chef, Jason Annette as Head Chef and Luke Mason as Bar Manager.
Baton Berisha, Director of Operations for The Ivy Collection, says: “We are incredibly excited to bring The Ivy Collection to Manchester this winter. Situated within the heart of Spinningfields, Manchester’s luxury dining and shopping quarter, we can’t wait to showcase our different floors, dining concepts and offerings. They’ll be something for everyone and we hope to bring something new to the city.”
