This Manchester Pride Weekend, The Ivy Spinningfields celebrates with a spectacular Pride brunch and a limited-edition cocktail menu.
Manchester Pride takes place this August Bank Holiday weekend and to celebrate, The Ivy Spinningfields has unveiled the delicious Pride brunch, accompanied by a menu of limited edition cocktails.
On Saturday 24 August, The Ivy’s Roof Garden will be transformed to host a show-stopping Pride brunch from 11am – 2pm. The brunch will be complete with champagne, cocktails and Pride-inspired entertainment from Carmen Miranda champagne pourers, dancers and other colourful acts. Guests will also be able to indulge in a range of Ivy brunch classics, such as hot buttermilk pancakes, eggs Benedict with thick-cut chips and a lobster and asparagus gratin.
With its fully-retractable roof, The Ivy’s rooftop garden provides the perfect setting for celebration, whatever the weather. This special event offers the opportunity to take a step back and enjoy the Pride party from above.
In addition to brunch, The Ivy has crafted some delectable Pride-themed cocktails to celebrate the weekend event. These bespoke beverages will be available on all three floors of the restaurant from Thursday 22 to Monday 26 August.
Inspired by three iconic tunes, ‘All The Lovers’ (£11.50) will feature Wyborowa Vodka, Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto, Cazcabel honey tequila and lemon juice, topped with Fever-Tree lemon tonic; ‘Dancing Queen’ (£12.50) with Absolut Vanilla Vodka, Cointreau blood orange liquor, blood orange puree, vanilla sugar and topped with Prosecco & camomile foam; and ‘Kiss’ (£9.75) which will include a delicious blend of Wyborowa Vodka, Campari, Clos l’Abeilley Sauternes dessert wine, marmalade and egg white.
