YES Manchester will be hosting “Shake Your Soul on Sunday,” a yoga and exercise event that benefits the soul, body and ears in The Pink Room on Sunday 2 June, 12pm- 2pm.
The fundraising event will be led by Dr Jessicarr Moorhouse, a doctor, personal trainer and founder of TRIBE.Mcr, a cutting-edge health and wellness brand in Manchester.
Also hosting is Madeleine Penfold, a yoga teacher and photographer at Foundry Film Studios, with live DJ, aalice, to provide the soundtrack for the session.
Madeleine and Dr Jessicarr will be guiding their guests through two hours of energetic movement and yoga flow, while hearing some amazing beats in the dreamy Pink Room to combine exercise and wellness with partying and good vibes.
Yes Manchester, located on Charles Street, is hosting the event to raise money for The Erenjang Project, a charity which supports the children of the Erenjang nursery in West Africa. Tickets cost £15 and all proceeds will be donated to the cause.
Madeleine, who is a co-founder of The Erenjang Project, said: “I can’t wait to welcome everyone to The Pink Room and to raise as much money as possible for The Erenjang Project. We have recently launched a School feeding programme, which aims to feed as many children at The Erenjang Nursery as possible.”
The charity was founded in 2016 to help disadvantaged children in Gambia. Madeleine has visited the country twice now and started the Erenjang Project after seeing the generosity and warmth and a community that had nothing.
Dr Jessicarr has said this is a dream come true. She stated: “TRIBE.MCR is about having fun and feeling good. What better way to do this than with a live DJ? My clients know I’m a huge dance music fan and I am delighted that Madeleine and aalice have come on board to host this event.”
All equipment and mats will be provided. For more information, visit yesmanchester.com.
