First Street’s newest arrival, School for Scandal is celebrating Manchester Pride this weekend by making a few menu switch ups in its honour. With a menu full of flavours from all over the world, the new dining space offers healthy choices for every day dining, alongside some deliciously naughty home comforts.
From starters and sharers, (such as Halloumi Fries with Harissa Yogurt), to an assortment of tasty Tacos, (like Slow Pulled Pork), Neapolitan Pizzas, and Oven/Grill classics, (including Scorched Salmon, Tuscan Style Grilled Lamb Chops and Edamame, a Pea and Mint Burger), there’s something for everyone.
They also have a rather spectacular dessert menu, featuring a decadent Chocolate Fondue (to ‘share’) and their classic, Glazed French Cullers – a delicious fried pastry treat, dipped in a sweet glaze and served with daily toppings.
In the name of Manchester Pride, School for Scandal have switched up their signature Cruller with a ‘colours of the rainbow’ Pride themed Cruller. To further celebrate their love of all colours, they’ll also be serving up a Pride themed cocktail, featuring a tiny rainbow.
School for Scandal is a tattoo-inspired restaurant which recently opened in mid-August, and is open 12pm to midnight, Monday to Friday, and 10am to midnight on Saturdays and Sundays.
The new opening takes over from The Laundrette at First Street, with a fresh take on creative cocktails and an all-day menu that includes tacos, burgers and grills.
