20 Stories has introduced its brand new Tropical Rooftop Terrace, putting them top-spot for our summer drinking destinations.
Throughout the winter months, the rooftop is home to two huge and iconic snow globes. This month, however, 20 Stories has replaced the globes with tropical bloom rooms, hosted by Ciroc. Featuring balmy palms and domed-glass ceilings, these little hideaways deliver shade on warmer days… and shelter on rainy ones.
We headed up to the rooftop restaurant to sample the special Ciroc Watermelon cocktail. Concocted with vodka and infused with a blend of watermelon and other natural flavours, it achieves a fresh, juicy taste, accented by a sweet zest and smooth finish. The drink is garnished with a slice of thirst-quenching watermelon.
Surrounded by panoramic views of Manchester’s spectacular and ever-changing skyline, we sipped on Ciroc as the sun cloaked the city in a filter of hazey gold. With dusk quickly approaching, the hustle and bustle of the streets below faded into a time-lapse of lights, provide a hypnotic treat to guests of 20 Stories.
20 Stories spokesman Becky Wilkes said: “The Tropical City we are creating will give a whole new ambiance to our famous terrace and we are sure our guests will love it every inch as much as we do.”
20 Stories’ Tropical City will feature throughout the months of May – June in partnership with Cîroc Watermelon.
