As Native Manchester’s apartment hotel in Ducie Street Warehouse nears its completion, it has released its first room reservations and revealed a launch date of July 1st.
Right in the heart of the city centre, and just a stone’s throw from Manchester Piccadilly Station, Native Manchester offers 166 wonderfully decorated apartments within its Grade II listed former warehouse. Carefully renovated to pay homage to its original purpose, the interior design feels industrial-chic and features high, brick-barrel ceilings, wide columns and wrought-iron girders.
With seven different apartment types to choose from, the interiors are largely defined by the beauty of the existing structure, as designed by Archer Humphryes; from the comfortable yet compact Studio, right up to the spacious and beautifully designed Penthouse Two-Bed duplex apartment. Both the standard and premium two-bed apartments have been designed for get-togethers with family and friends, offering two bathrooms, a dining table for six, and sumptuous furnishings from top-to-bottom. Larger groups can also take advantage of the interconnecting apartments, giving guests the opportunity to share their living spaces together.
Working with the space provided, apartments enjoy large open living rooms, kitchens, hallways and luxurious bathrooms, all with exposed brickwork, oiled-oak timber floors, cast iron columns and exposed beams. Bright and vibrant colours are used throughout Native Manchester, with fully equipped kitchens and a modern aesthetic throughout – providing guests with a home away from home feel.
Native Manchester is set to collaborate with a number of local operators to ensure they offer their guests the best possible experience when they visit the city, with the likes of local coffee, chocolate and beer all available on check-in.
To celebrate the launch of their reservations page, Native Manchester are offering a group of friends* the chance to win an overnight stay in a two bed apartment the weekend the apartment hotel opens. To enter, simply follow Native’s Instagram page and comment to win. The competition will run until May 31st, with the winner announced on June 1st.
Guy Nixon, CEO of Native:
“Working with a Grade II listed building has been a real challenge but we’re absolutely blown away by the results, which will see this incredible warehouse restored to its former glory and become a major destination in Manchester. We’ve also been working hard to establish relationships with local operators to ensure guests receive an authentic experience when they stay with us. Since launching the bookings line, we’ve already taken a lot of reservations, which is incredibly positive and demonstrates there is a real interest in the apartment hotel model, which gives people a lot more freedom and choice during their stay.”
