The Ivy Spinningfields saw a whole host of stellar celebrities, influencers and VIPs come together to party at The Ivy Spinningfields Super Party. A spectacular evening of two parties in one, the event celebrated the re-opening of the restaurant’s Roof Garden, after a fire ripped through the building at the start of the year.
Guests of The Ivy Manchester included Laura Whitmore, Nicola Roberts, Caroline Flack, Ella Eyre, Kym Marsh, Lara Stone, Neelam Gill, Jack Guinness, Stacey Forsey, and Nikki Sanderson.
Occupying the whole of Hardman Square, a Big Top Tent was erected and The Ivy Circus came to town, bringing with it a flamboyant array of high-octane acts. Drummers, stilt walkers, contortionists and fire eaters wowed the city’s movers and shakers and performers treated thrilled guests to an onset of renditions from The Greatest Showman.
All of the proceeds from The Ivy Circus were donated to The Fire Fighters Charity, following their heroism and outstanding management of the rooftop fire. This charity helps to rescue the rescuers, supporting them when they need it most.
Throughout the evening, The Ivy Manchester also hosted an extravagant across all three floors of The Ivy. Transforming the venue into a visual spectacular, guests were invited to dance along to live music and DJs, joined by a host of carnival and cabaret entertainers. Meanwhile, the beautiful Roof Garden was dressed as a botanical party.
The Ivy Roof Garden is opening at The Ivy Manchester today (Monday 15th April). We went down for an exclusive preview.
“Unsurprisingly, The Ivy roof garden carries with it the airs and graces that we’ve grown accustomed to expect from our new favourite mancunian haven. Encompassing a gardenesque aesthetic with touches of vibrancy shining through in each of the furniture choices and the homely vibe afforded by the fire pit and fireplaces built into the walls, you’d be forgiven for losing yourself momentarily in a Shakespearean dream while dining at The Ivy roof garden.”
