Albert Schloss will be flying the pride flag high with Albert’s Love Parade on next month’s Manchester Pride Weekend.
Manchester Pride takes place next month on 23rd – 26th August and Albert Schloss is hosting some top celebrations. The annual Pride parade marches past Manchester’s iconic bier palace so Schloss is a perfect spot to take part in Pride weekend.
Honouring its Bohemian roots, Albert’s Schloss has announced an incredible pride party lineup for Pride weekend. To start off the celebrations, on Friday 23rd August, pop power queen Hattie Pearson will be providing the soundtrack to Schloss’s ultimate 80’s party, Girls on Film, on Bank Holiday Friday.
Saturday 24th sees the Pride parade march through Manchester city centre. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots and the beginning of the modern LGBT+ pride movement, so Pride 2019 is extra special. At Schloss, the party continues with Manchester disco legends, La Discotheque, taking over. Expect to get down with an army of glitter bikini-clad-flaming-flamingo party people for a huge all-day disco marathon. DJ Paulette will host the official pre-launch party before Manchester’s La Discotheque head off to Ibiza for a season at Ibiza Rocks, where they’ll be taking over Monday nights.
Sunday is nowhere near winding down with Homoelectric resident DJ Will Tramp spinning his best records through Bank Holiday Sunday in the Bohemian party palace. Albert’s Schloss will also welcome High Tea With The Queens, followed by Feel Good Choir member, Dominic Lawson, who will round the night off with Dance and Haus classics.
The parade tickets are all sold out and Schloss is hosting a Pride party weekend to remember (or not), so get down to Peter Street to celebrate the incredible Pride movement in Manchester next month.
